The Racine County Juvenile Detention Center contracts with a licensed physician and a registered nurse for medical services.

Parents/Legal guardians are asked to complete a medical consent form so that their child may receive prompt medical care.  Although the Center provides emergency medical attention, your child may require more extensive treatment.  Parents are notified prior to the provision of alternative care.

Parents/Legal guardians should be aware that the Center is not responsible for medical care delivered outside of the Center; therefore, parents will be responsible for paying for those medical bills.

If a child is presently taking prescription medication, please supply the Center with the medication and the name of the physician as quickly as possible.
